Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Richard Valdealez!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coach dips to his left and cracks Valdealez with an uppercut!

Valdealez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Coach counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Coach throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Valdealez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Valdealez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Valdealez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Coach is fending him off so far but Valdealez persists. Nope, Coach circles away and we're back to standing.

It looks like Richard Valdealez has been cut.
Coach ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Valdealez's jaw. Valdealez's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Coach does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
