Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Nitro (ranked 2982 p4p, 3707 weight class) and Albert White (ranked 389 p4p, 457 weight class). Jimmy Nitro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jimmy Nitro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nitro was well out of range. Poor timing from White.
White looks to score with a jab to the body but Nitro is just out of range.
Nitro swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
White ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nitro moves away.
Nice straight punches there by White. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of White.
White misses with a shot to the body
and Nitro counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Nitro dips to his left and cracks White with an uppercut!
Nitro shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that White has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
White is looking to clinch but Nitro is avoiding it.
White drops his hands momentarily and Nitro takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nitro is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

White has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Nitro should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, White has tightened it up now! Nitro should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
