Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between don vasyl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buster Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banks is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: NWA Chin Check. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, don vasyl!

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
vasyl shoots in but no luck this time.
Banks scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
vasyl closes the distance and clinches up with Banks, looking for a takedown. vasyl pushes Banks against the cage but Banks circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
vasyl changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Banks tries to avoid it but vasyl manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Banks to the ground. Banks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for don vasyl. That's going to take a lot out of him.

vasyl shoots in for a takedown but Banks shows good takedown defense.
vasyl moves out of range of the leg kick from Banks.
Banks throws a right hand that vasyl ducks under and follows up with a left that vasyl also avoids with ease.

vasyl changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Banks looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Banks wants to stand but vasyl has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Banks must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Banks slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
vasyl is striking but Banks is not phased and passes to half guard.

Banks bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps vasyl's head backwards.

Oh vasyl is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Banks connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent vasyl tumbling to the canvas! Banks pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! vasyl was done - good stoppage!
