Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tupac Saulnier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and whats that aboot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saulnier avoids the head kick by aboot.
Saulnier throws an uppercut from half a mile away. aboot sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Saulnier had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. aboot is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Saulnier Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take aboot's back instead.

Saulnier is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. aboot is defending well though. Saulnier let's go of the attempt for now.

aboot shoots in looking for a takedown. Saulnier tries to sprawl out of it but aboot keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Saulnier manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Saulnier feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Saulnier turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Saulnier manages to end up in side control.

Saulnier is pressed up against the cage. aboot has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Saulnier down to the mat. Saulnier avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Saulnier has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Saulnier counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps aboot thinking.

aboot displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Saulnier throws out the jab.
aboot closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

aboot has hold of Saulnier's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Saulnier manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tupac Saulnier.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Saulnier, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
