Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leon Lentz (ranked 546 p4p, 691 weight class) and Vinicius Verreira (ranked 78 p4p, 103 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lentz lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Verreira drives through with a takedown into Lentz's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Verreira tries to free his leg and advance position but Lentz is retaining full guard.

Lentz throws a leg kick which misses Verreira's front leg but catches the back leg as Verreira tries to avoid it.
Verreira fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lentz manages to avoid it.
Lentz seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Lentz lands a glancing blow to the side of Verreira's head.

Lentz lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Verreira backs up against the cage.

Lentz throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Verreira on the side of the head.
Some bone on bone action there as Verreira checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
