Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Larry Baker (ranked 4603 p4p, 25048 weight class) and Chen Wangting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wangting has chosen Interceptor as his entrance music. Larry Baker has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Larry Baker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chen Wangting!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker scores with a nice head shot.
Wangting looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Baker rushes Wangting and presses him up against the cage.

Baker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Baker throws a leg kick but Wangting sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Wangting should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Baker is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wangting's half guard.
Wangting is looking to control Baker's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wangting avoid being mounted?
Baker not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wangting wants to sweep but Baker has passed to side control!
Baker takes a little break here. Wangting wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Baker tries to stand but Wangting is controlling his head.
Baker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Baker in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baker wants to stand but Wangting has his arm trapped.
Baker controls the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Wangting tries to bench press Baker off him but Baker keeps the position.
The referee asks Baker politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Baker prefers to stall for the moment though.
Baker looks up at the clock and then as Wangting takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Baker smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Baker wants to stand but Wangting is controlling his arm.

Baker has an Americana. Wangting didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Baker is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Baker hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
