PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kurou Nishiyama (ranked 4685 p4p, 4574 weight class) and Maria Magnani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnani slips under a jab.
Magnani is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Magnani manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Magnani is on top in guard.

Nishiyama wants to stand and escape but Magnani is having none of it.

Magnani drops back looking for a leg! Nishiyama is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nishiyama manages to kick Magnani off! Magnani jumps back into Nishiyama's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Magnani is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Magnani tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nishiyama sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Magnani somewhat.

It looks like Maria Magnani has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
