Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Evan Gilbert !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Park Sun Yin!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Sun Yin. Those never looked like landing.
Gilbert gets a clinch.

Sun Yin tries to pull guard but Gilbert forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Sun Yin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gilbert smiles and moves away.
Sun Yin tries to score with a low kick but Gilbert moves his leg out of the way.
Sun Yin instigates a clinch.
Sun Yin tries for a takedown but Gilbert manages to get underhooks.
Evan Gilbert has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Park Sun Yin.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Gilbert .
It looks like Park Sun Yin has been cut.
Sun Yin is looking to take this one to the mat.
Gilbert lands a nice knee to the body.
Sun Yin tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gilbert avoids it.
Sun Yin tries to break the clinch but Gilbert is controlling the position.
Gilbert lands a good knee to the midsection. Sun Yin won't want to take too many of those.

Sun Yin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gilbert avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Sun Yin wants to get back to striking at distance but Gilbert won't allow it.

Gilbert lands an elbow inside that Sun Yin shrugs off.

Sun Yin is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Sun Yin goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gilbert prevents it.
Sun Yin wants to take the fight to the mat but Gilbert manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Sun Yin has Gilbert pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gilbert manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Gilbert crunches a lovely knee into Sun Yin's ribcage.
Gilbert has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Sun Yin - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Gilbert , and another! Sun Yin is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
