Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 24157 p4p, 6391 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xxx Xxx acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 31 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Fighter A dives in for a single leg takedown but Fighter B sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Fighter B stops a takedown attempt from Fighter A.
Fighter A wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fighter A wants to take the fight to the mat but Fighter B manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Fighter B is looking for a takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter A prevents the takedown attempt.
Fighter B is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Fighter A gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Fighter B works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Fighter A looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Fighter B puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Fighter A trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Fighter B manages to pass to mount!

Fighter A tries to hold on but Fighter B postures up.
Fighter B controlling his opponent.
Fighter B avoids the attempt from Fighter A to control.
Fighter A is desperately trying to improve his position but Fighter B has a good base and remains in mount.

Fighter A tries to hold on but Fighter B postures up.

Fighter A wants to hold on but Fighter B pushes him away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Fighter A is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Fighter B takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fighter A is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Fighter B tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Fighter A is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Fighter A with a poor takedown
and Fighter B counters with a good, hard body kick but Fighter A shrugs it off.
Fighter A fails with the takedown.
Fighter B is trying to counter with his kicks.
Fighter A shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fighter A throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fighter B's waist but Fighter B gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fighter A off to one side.

Fighter B feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Fighter A is adopting a defensive guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Fighter B closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fighter A to the mat! Fighter A manages to get full guard.
Fighter A is looking to sweep but instead, Fighter B has passed into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fighter A wants to control but Fighter B is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fighter B takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Let's hope that Fighter B has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Xxx Xxx showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Fighter A is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fighter B sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Fighter B closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fighter B lands in his opponent's guard.

Fighter B throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Fighter B is looking to work some ground and pound but Fighter A has wrist control.
Fighter A throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Fighter A is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Fighter B looks for a takedown but Fighter A sprawls well.
Fighter A quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Fighter A fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Fighter B feints a counter leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fighter B loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Fighter B.

Xxx Xxx comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Fighter B has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
