Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pip Lundgren (ranked 4581 p4p, 4583 weight class) and Alaska Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Rose avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rose steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Lundgren.
Lundgren throws a body punch but Rose moves out of range.
Lundgren sets himself, and Rose steps forward looking for the clinch! Lundgren avoids it this time.
Lundgren misses with a hook. Rose ducked under it nicely.
Lundgren tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rose manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Lundgren moves into range and clinches up with Rose.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lundgren tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rose's elbow.
Lundgren fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Rose is looking for a takedown.
Lundgren misses with a punch to the body.

Lundgren stalling in the clinch but Rose improves position.
Lundgren tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Rose tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lundgren just stands there and leans against the cage.
Lundgren is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Rose is keeping busy.

Pip Lundgren has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alaska Rose.
Lundgren misses with a short punch on the inside.
Lundgren is trying to stall.
Rose blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Lundgren lands a hook to the side of the head.
Lundgren is looking to control Rose's arms but Rose gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lundgren has his back to the cage.

Lundgren tries to throw a body punch but Rose avoids it by throwing Lundgren back against the cage.

Rose jumps guard and drags Lundgren to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Rose working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lundgren doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Rose is tightening it up a little... Lundgren has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Lundgren reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Lundgren taps out! Nice BJJ there by Rose!
