Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenshin Uesugi (ranked 3384 p4p, 4116 weight class) and Filip Danielsen (ranked 419 p4p, 483 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Filip Danielsen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenshin Uesugi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Filip Danielsen!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Danielsen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Uesugi on his heels. He'll look to pass Uesugi's guard now, I'm sure.

Uesugi has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Danielsen defend it? Uesugi steps over the head and cranks it - Danielsen is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Uesugi!
