The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morales misses with a combination
and Swahn counters with a stiff right hand.
Swahn looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Morales scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Swahn throws a shot from downtown. Morales moves away and avoids it.
Morales tries to bum rush Swahn with a series of wild strikes but Swahn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Morales walks into a stiff left hand from Swahn.
Morales throws a low kick but it's checked well by Swahn.
Morales throws a nice inside leg kick.
Swahn misses with a lunging right hand
and Morales counters with a nice uppercut.
Swahn connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Swahn loads up on a big right hand but Morales slips the punch.
Swahn connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Swahn is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Swahn fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Morales has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Swahn catches Morales with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Morales takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
We've been informed that Morales has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Swahn misses with a body kick.
Swahn throws a push kick but Morales slaps the foot to one side.
Swahn lands a jab.
Swahn uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Morales has time to react.

Morales moves into range and clinches up with Swahn.
Morales goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Swahn lands a right hand that snaps the head of Morales backwards.

Swahn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Morales lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Swahn drops Morales with a beautiful combination! Morales stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Swahn is looking for the KO!

Morales is rocked!

It looks like Ricardo Morales has been cut.
Morales bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Swahn comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Morales falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Morales was out before he hit the floor!
