Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eduval Wealihi (ranked 24855 p4p, 25068 weight class) and Meet Me (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wealihi gets caught flat footed, as Me shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Me is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Me gets to his feet - Wealihi follows without any prompting.

Me has Wealihi up against the cage in a clinch.
Me will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Wealihi up against the cage.

Me decides to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Me manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wealihi manages to get himself to full guard.

Me 's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Me advances position into side control!
Me passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Wealihi!

Me jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Wealihi manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Me lands a decent elbow from side control.
Me is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Me decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Me throws a right and a left that Wealihi avoids nicely.
Wealihi throws a counter high kick but Me was just alert enough to avoid it.

Me shoots in and bounces Wealihi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Me is in close to Wealihi's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Me gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Me fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Wealihi to the ground. Me is now in Wealihi's guard.
Me is stalling in the full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Me slips nicely into half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Meet Me dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Me throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wealihi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Me is in Wealihi's guard.
Me passes Wealihi's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Wealihi is trying to escape back to his feet but Me uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Me advances to full mount.
Me scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Wealihi?

Me stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Me feints and as Wealihi raises his hands in defense, Me changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Wealihi wants to get back to his feet but Me passes into half guard.

Me stands up from half guard.

Wealihi gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Me is standing up over Wealihi. Wealihi looks to escape but Me dives into side control.
Wealihi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Me on the ground.

Let's hope that Me has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Me is chipping away with strikes.

Me stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Me shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wealihi is trying to defend but Me finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Me controlling the pace.
Me lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Me moves nicely into side control.
Wealihi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Me lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Me has an Americana. Wealihi didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Me is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Me hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
