The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salaad misses with a double jab.

and John counters with a left and a right that stings Salaad.
John tries for a takedown but Salaad sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Salaad tries to bum rush John with a series of wild strikes but John uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Salaad counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

That was a close round but I would say that Kris John will probably get the nod.
