Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between My Girl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Girl comes to the cage accompanied by My Girl. On his way into the cage it seems that My Girl has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily My Girl seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Girl swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Stone feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Stone sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Girl's guard.

Girl had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Stone is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Girl Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Stone's back instead.
Stone just trying to survive but Girl is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Girl is not going to allow Stone to sit and survive in this position.

Stone tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Stone wants to hold on but Girl pushes him away.

Despite being in the dominant position, Josh Stone just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Girl tries to bum rush Stone with a series of wild strikes but Stone uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stone shoots in for a double leg but Girl sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Stone shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Girl as he avoids it easily.
Stone doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Girl stuns Stone with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Stone takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Stone slips a jab and a cross from Girl.
Girl throws a right hand that Stone ducks under and follows up with a left that Stone also avoids with ease.
Girl looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Stone shoots in but no luck this time.
My Girl has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Stone.

Girl lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
My Girl is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stone takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Stone looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Girl is fending him off so far but Stone persists. Nope, Girl circles away and we're back to standing.

Girl lands with a hook. Stone tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
