The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Mfer misses.
Svenkter lands with a good body shot.
Svenkter takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Mfer lands a jab to the nose.
Mfer slips under a jab.
Mfer throws a sloppy head kick
and Svenkter counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Mfer connects with a nice looking jab.
Svenkter looks to land a body kick but Mfer moved away.
Mfer flicks out a counter leg kick but Svenkter steps away.
Svenkter chopping away at his opponent's legs.
That kick from Mfer tenderised Svenkter's leg. Svenkter is trying to keep his angry face on.
Svenkter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

It looks like Hargol Svenkter has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mfer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Murska Mfer has been cut.
Mfer looks to score with a jab to the body but Svenkter is just out of range.
Mfer misses with a right hand
and Svenkter counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mfer connects with a body shot that sends Svenkter's belly button to the back.
Svenkter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mfer.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Svenkter - that will leave a mark!
Mfer looks winded!

Svenkter sends Mfer crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Svenkter is motioning to the referee to let Mfer up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Svenkter scores with a body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Svenkter lands a nice hook to Mfer's body. Mfer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Svenkter feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mfer sprawling to the canvas! Mfer rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Svenkter finish him?!

Mfer is rocked!
Svenkter misses with an uppercut.
Svenkter throws a wild body kick that Mfer sees coming a mile off.
Svenkter tries a low kick but Mfer avoids it.
Mfer looks for the body kick but Svenkter saw that one coming.
Mfer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Svenkter throws out the jab.
We've been told by Svenkter's head coaches at Chakuriki LA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Svenkter lands a big right hand that sends Mfer crashing to the mat! Svenkter stays standing though and waves Mfer back to his feet!
Mfer is still on wobbly legs! Can Svenkter finish him?

Mfer throws a hook to the side of Svenkter's head but Svenkter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Svenkter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Crack! Svenkter connects with the perfect overhand right and Mfer falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Svenkter!

Hargol Svenkter spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
