Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Goon (ranked 2742 p4p, 2153 weight class) and Jan Sokol (ranked 148 p4p, 117 weight class). Jerry Goon could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jan Sokol's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jerry Goon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jan Sokol!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sokol shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Goon napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Goon bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Goon sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Goon connects with a jab.
Sokol is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Let's hope that Sokol has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

I would just about give that final round to Jan Sokol.
