Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arniquez Montgomery (ranked 1791 p4p, 1736 weight class) and Ba’al Lightning (ranked 241 p4p, 234 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ba’al Lightning!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lightning throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Montgomery stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Montgomery keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lightning.
Lightning misses with an uppercut. Montgomery saw that one coming.
Montgomery fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lightning manages to avoid it.
Lightning swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Montgomery swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lightning thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lightning connects with a nice looking jab.
Lightning has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lightning takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ba’al Lightning seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch combination from Montgomery misses.
Lightning misses the jab.
Montgomery connects with a nice looking jab.
Montgomery uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lightning.
Lightning ducks under a wild hook from Montgomery.
Montgomery looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Montgomery lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Lightning falls backwards - clearly groggy! Montgomery dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

A relieved looking Arniquez Montgomery thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
