Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shinko Naragami (ranked 5260 p4p, 4208 weight class) and Dominick Hasek (ranked 415 p4p, 381 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinko Naragami!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dominick Hasek!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jorge Garcia and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naragami misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Hasek counters with a shoot takedown. Naragami fights it but they end up in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Naragami is trying to keep Hasek in close.
Hasek throws a big right hand that misses.
Naragami looking for a sweep. Not yet Naragami, not yet.
Naragami controls Hasek momentarily but Hasek frees himself.
Naragami pulls Hasek in close to prevent any damage.

Naragami's coaches at Tokyo Gym have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Naragami is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hasek's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hasek's back!

Naragami is trying to control Hasek's posture but Hasek avoids it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hasek has control of an arm but Naragami manages to advance to Hasek's back!
I really don't envy Hasek right now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Hasek breaks Naragami's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Naragami manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Naragami throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hasek uses it to pass to side control.

Hasek tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hasek has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Naragami has gone for a leg lock! Hasek slips out almost immediately though and dives into Naragami's guard.

Naragami feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Haseks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Hasek drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Hasek bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
