Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tapio Tapsanen (ranked 2703 p4p, 5124 weight class) and Jake Peterson (ranked 339 p4p, 0 weight class). Peterson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Berzerk by Eminem. The key to victory for Tapio Tapsanen has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peterson has Tapsanen up against the cage in a clinch.
Tapsanen misses with some punches.
Tapsanen is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Tapsanen swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Tapsanen tries to stall but Peterson uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Peterson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tapsanen gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Peterson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Peterson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tapsanen lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Tapsanen takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Peterson misses with a straight left.
Tapsanen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Peterson throws a series of punches but Tapsanen avoids them all with ease.

Peterson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tapsanen walks away with a smile on his face. Peterson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Tapsanen swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Peterson tries to bum rush Tapsanen with a series of wild strikes but Tapsanen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Tapsanen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

It looks like Jake Peterson has been cut.
No luck for Peterson with that takedown attempt.

Tapsanen connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Peterson momentarily.
Peterson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tapsanen counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Peterson walks into a straight right hand from Tapsanen.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Peterson throws a combination that misses
and Tapsanen counters with a nice leg kick.
Tapsanen jabs Peterson right on the nose. Peterson blinks but takes it well.

Tapsanen lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

That has opened up Jake Peterson's cut even more.
Tapsanen throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Peterson colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Tapsanen as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Peterson is left battered and dazed whilst Tapsanen and his camp cheer!
