Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chief Walker (ranked 3045 p4p, 2473 weight class) and Tayaen Porfirigo (ranked 364 p4p, 310 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tayaen Porfirigo!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porfirigo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Walker circles away quickly and effectively.
Walker throws a right hand that Porfirigo ducks under and follows up with a left that Porfirigo also avoids with ease.
Porfirigo shoots in for a takedown but Walker shows good takedown defense.
Porfirigo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

A jab-cross combination lands for Walker and sends Porfirigo crashing to the mat! Walker follows him down to the mat - Porfirigo regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Tayaen Porfirigo has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Walker wants to stand but Porfirigo has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Porfirigo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Walker is working away from the top position though.
Walker seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Porfirigo tries to roll over but Walker keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Porfirigo is trying to control but can't.

Walker tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Walker trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Walker postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Porfirigo to stand up.

Walker drops his shoulder and cracks Porfirigo with a huge uppercut! Porfirigo goes down! Can Walker finish him?

Porfirigo is rocked!
Porfirigo has a closed guard, preventing Walker from standing up.
Porfirigo is still in real trouble! Can Walker finish him?
Porfirigo seems to have recovered his senses.

Walker decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Walker drops Porfirigo with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Porfirigo! Walker dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chief Walker!
An out of breath Chief Walker thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Tayaen Porfirigo spoke after the fight, saying 'Now, I will kill myself...'.
