Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Anka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jing Ya Xu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anka comes to the cage accompanied by Kalinka. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anka has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ya Xu finds it's way round the side to connect with Anka's head.
Anka looks for a takedown but Ya Xu sprawls well.
Ya Xu stuffs the takedown attempt from Anka. Anka gets slowly back to his feet.
Anka takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Ya Xu lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Anka at a distance.
Anka shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ya Xu but Ya Xu pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ya Xu connects with a big shot to the side of Anka's head.
Ya Xu doesn't have the hooks in and Anka manages to turn into his guard.
Anka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ya Xu swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ya Xu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Anka throws a hook but Ya Xu avoids it easily.

Ya Xu looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ya Xu is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Anka is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Ya Xu is nestled in close to Anka, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Anka postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Well Ya Xu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
