Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bjorn Helvig (ranked 3779 p4p, 3300 weight class) and Theron Roark (ranked 461 p4p, 406 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helvig lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Helvig tests Roark's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Roark moves into the clinch.
Helvig tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Helvig stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Helvig lands a left hand that snaps the head of Roark backwards.

Roark manages to pull guard.
Helvig trying to control the position from guard on top but Roark is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Helvig tries to free his leg and advance position but Roark is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Roark is looking for a triangle but Helvig pushes his legs off easily.

Helvig stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Roark throws up his legs and catches Helvig in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Helvig tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Roark! That came out of nowhere!
