Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mercury Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Richardson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Everybody Knows My Name. The key to victory for Mercury Jones has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richardson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Richardson is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Richardson gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Richardson gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Richardson apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Richardson walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Jones drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Richardson swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Jones's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Larry Richardson!
