Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kulata Bitok (ranked 25202 p4p, 4208 weight class) and Greg Pearson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Pearson misses the target.
Bitok thinks about countering with a body kick.
Pearson throws a hook but Bitok avoids it easily.
It looked like Bitok was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Bitok displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pearson throws out the jab.

Bitok tries for a takedown but Pearson circles away easily
letting Pearson counter with a right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pearson looks to land a left hand but Bitok moved out of range nicely.
Greg Pearson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pearson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pearson showed some decent athleticism there.

Pearson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Bitok is trying to maintain the position but Pearson is very close to passing his half guard.

Pearson is working for a submission of some sort.
Pearson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bitok is trying to control but can't.

Pearson seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Bitok is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
