Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Walad Anubis (ranked 464 p4p, 699 weight class) and Gul Dukat (ranked 71 p4p, 95 weight class). Anubis comes to the cage accompanied by Hideaway. Dukat has chosen Guillotine (Swordz) as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walad Anubis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gul Dukat!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anubis defending well as Dukat loads up on a big left hand.
Anubis's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dukat under the eye.
Anubis lands a nice shot that snaps Dukat's head back.
Dukat bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dukat blocks a jab.
Anubis rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dukat counters with a nice uppercut.

Walad Anubis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anubis lands a lovely overhand right.
An inside leg kick lands from Anubis.
Anubis uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dukat has time to react.
Anubis connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dukat. Dukat circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dukat ducks under a wild hook from Anubis.
Dukat is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Dukat throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Anubis was covering up waiting for the punch and Dukat finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dukat postures up and lands a big shot to Anubis's brow.

Dukat postures up in Anubis's guard and throws a big left but Anubis blocks it.
Anubis is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Dukat wants to pass the guard but Anubis is keeping the position.
Dukat working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Dukat has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The House Of Pain. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dukat accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dukat is looking to work some ground and pound but Anubis has wrist control.

Dukat has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Anubis wants to sweep but no luck.
Dukat with a flurry of punches that miss.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dukat slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dukat trying to control but Anubis is working from the bottom.
Dukat is working Anubis over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Dukat scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Dukat wants to control from the top but Anubis keeps moving.
Dukat is looking to work some ground and pound but Anubis has wrist control.
Dukat looking to sit in guard and control but Anubis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Dukat wants to sweep but no luck.
Dukat is still trying to improve position.
Dukat working for a triangle but Anubis defends it easily.
Anubis controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dukat working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anubis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anubis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Anubis controls from within his opponent's guard.
Dukat isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Anubis stacks Dukat on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Anubis!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dukat is trying to get back to half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Walad Anubis dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Dukat jabs Anubis right on the nose. Anubis blinks but takes it well.
Anubis misses with a hook.
Dukat jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dukat is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Anubis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A jab from Anubis does it's job there.
Dukat scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
A big left from Anubis misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dukat! But no joy.
Anubis throws a big shot that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dukat swings and misses with a hook to the body.
As Dukat backs away, Anubis returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Nice jab there from Anubis.
Anubis circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Dukat to the canvas! Dukat doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Anubis keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Walad Anubis!
After winning the bout, Walad Anubis thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
