Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Patterson (ranked 2655 p4p, 5492 weight class) and Manuel Tillich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manuel Tillich told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tillich avoids it really well and circles away.
A little jabbing left from Tillich on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Patterson is defended easily by Tillich.
Tillich's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tillich's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Tillich throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tillich will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Patterson shoots in looking for a takedown but Tillich manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Patterson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Patterson shoots for a double leg takedown but Tillich sprawls well. He's pushed Patterson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tillich's jab looks to have found its range, popping Patterson under the eye.
