Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robin Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiro Protagonist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Protagonist swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Protagonist uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hood.
Protagonist fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Protagonist circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice jab there from Protagonist.

It looks like Robin Hood has been cut.
Protagonist lands with a right hand.
Hood moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hood pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hood slips a jab from Protagonist.
Protagonist bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Protagonist avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hood throws a hook but Protagonist blocks it.
Hood bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hood has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Protagonist finds it's way round the side to connect with Hood's head.
Hood slips under a jab from Protagonist.
Robin Hood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Protagonist misses the jab.
Protagonist blocks a jab.
Protagonist misses with an uppercut.
A slow jab from Hood misses its intended target.
Hood is looking to chop away at Protagonist's legs.
Hood rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Protagonist moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hood is looking to clinch.

Hood looks to throw the jab but Protagonist is out of range.
Protagonist blocks a low kick nicely.
Protagonist takes a swing at Hood's ribcage but misses.
Hood fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Protagonist checks it well.
Hood slips a jab from Protagonist.
Protagonist moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Hood swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hood is breathing heavily.
Protagonist throws a hook but Hood blocks it.
Protagonist lands a jab to the head.

Robin Hood's cut is getting worse.
Protagonist misses with a looping left.
Protagonist might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Protagonist throws a big shot that misses.
Hood connects with a good right hand that stumbles Protagonist. Protagonist circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Protagonist connects with the punch.
Protagonist throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hood takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Protagonist drops Hood with a nice combination! Protagonist dives into Hood's guard, looking to finish!

Hood is rocked!
Protagonist is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Oh Hood is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hood keeping full guard, as Protagonist tries to pass.
Hood seems to have got his legs back now.

Protagonist slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Protagonist decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hood, up you get!
Hood with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Protagonist to score with a decent uppercut.

Robin Hood's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Hood takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Protagonist lands a right hook to the body.
Hood drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Jeez, Robin Hood's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Robin Hood's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
