The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.

Perkins looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Perkins is fighting to break Mahogany's control of his arms but Mahogany is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Mahogany is trying to hold Perkins in close to prevent damage but Perkins has managed to pass into half guard.

Mahogany gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
