The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Gomes has managed to clinch.
Gomes has Petrov pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Petrov manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Gomes has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Petrov after a bit of a struggle.

Petrov is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Gomes has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Petrov is riding his opponent, not letting Gomes buck him off.
Gomes looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Petrov is cranking Gomes's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Gomes! He's tightened the choke and Gomes is tapping out!
