Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny TheRotten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and noel adam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). adam has chosen regulate as his entrance music. noel adam has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Anthony Taglia and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
adam closes the distance and pushes TheRotten back into the cage.
adam wants a takedown but no success here.

adam has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but TheRotten regains guard immediately.
TheRotten throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
adam trying to control the position from guard on top but TheRotten is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
TheRotten working for a triangle but adam defends it easily.
adam postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! TheRotten is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of adam, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
adam is looking for a triangle but TheRotten pushes his legs off easily.

TheRotten pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. adam is keeping the position for now.
adam is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
adam is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
TheRotten stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. adam swivels though and keeps the full guard.
TheRotten drops back looking for a leg! adam is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and adam manages to kick TheRotten off! TheRotten jumps back into adam's guard.
TheRotten throwing strikes from guard but adam blocks nicely.
TheRotten is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
adam is looking for a triangle but TheRotten pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
TheRotten drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and TheRotten jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
TheRotten blocks a head kick by adam.
Danga de danga de dang - adam scores with a four punch combination!
adam throws a nice looking combination but TheRotten bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
TheRotten stuffs the takedown attempt from adam. adam gets slowly back to his feet.
Johnny TheRotten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of noel adam.
adam looks gassed!
adam gets a takedown into half guard.

adam is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
TheRotten gets back to full guard.
TheRotten looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
adam drops back looking for a leg! TheRotten is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and TheRotten manages to kick adam off! adam jumps back into TheRotten's guard.
TheRotten is trying to control the position but adam postures up.
TheRotten has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but adam can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

adam has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of TheRotten is proving hard to escape from.
adam thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
TheRotten is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
TheRotten circles away from the clinch attempt.
adam forces TheRotten back against the cage and clinches.
adam wants a takedown.
adam drops to a knee looking for a takedown but TheRotten gets the underhooks and prevents it.
adam is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
adam tries to score a body lock takedown but TheRotten shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
adam throws a punch but it's blocked by TheRotten.

adam gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
TheRotten is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! adam is tapping! Great win for TheRotten!
