Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Prime Asiago (ranked 1878 p4p, 1463 weight class) and Sorry Eh (ranked 238 p4p, 202 weight class). Asiago comes to the cage accompanied by 300 Violin Orchestra. Sorry Eh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Prime Asiago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sorry Eh!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asiago moves into range and connects with a jab.
Asiago throws a head kick that misses

and Eh counters with a shoot takedown. Asiago fights it but they end up in guard.
Eh keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Asiago's head.
Eh must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Eh throws a big right hand that misses.
Asiago utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Eh stays in close to Asiago's body and controls the position.
Asiago seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Asiago is trying to keep Eh in close.
Eh postures up in Asiago's guard and throws a big left but Asiago blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Asiago can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Eh controls the pace.

Let's hope that Eh has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Asiago throws a head kick that misses

and Eh counters with a single leg into guard. Asiago didn't expect that.
Eh controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Eh's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

It looks like Eh might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Eh looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Eh is looking to advance position but Asiago won't allow it.
Eh not doing much here.
Eh looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Eh working over Asiago with some ground and pound. Asiago looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Asiago can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Eh controls the pace.
Eh is pushing down on Asiago's leg trying to pass to half guard. Asiago is fighting to maintain full guard but Eh has managed to sneak the leg through.
Eh seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Eh working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Eh moves out of range as Asiago strikes.
Eh tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Asiago throws a head kick that misses.
And Eh tries to counter it with a takedown but Asiago pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Eh is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Eh just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromAsiago.

Eh shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Eh is taking a breather. Asiago says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Sorry Eh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Eh is looking to clinch but Asiago is avoiding it.

Asiago is working to avoid the ground and pound but Eh connects with a decent elbow.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Eh misses with the ground and pound.
