Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Tyme (ranked 2965 p4p, 3368 weight class) and Roddy Banner (ranked 366 p4p, 403 weight class). Banner is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: BILMURI - LORDFARQUADZILLA. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Tyme.
It looks like Roddy Banner has been cut.
Some bone on bone action there as Tyme checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Tyme lands a big right hand that sends Banner crashing to the mat! Tyme stays standing though and waves Banner back to his feet!
Tyme throws a right hand that Banner ducks under and follows up with a left that Banner also avoids with ease.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Banner is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Banner has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Banner scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

The fighters circle momentarily. Tyme darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
That has opened up Roddy Banner's cut even more.

Banner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Banner shoots in looking for a takedown. Tyme tries to sprawl out of it but Banner keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tyme manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Tyme sends Banner crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Tyme is motioning to the referee to let Banner up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Tyme's corner calls for a 1-2. Tyme obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Roddy Banner's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Magnus Tyme!
During a confident post fight interview, Magnus Tyme thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, Roddy Banner stepped up to the mic, saying 'Watch your back! I am coming for you..'.
