Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Petr Amagov (ranked 4229 p4p, 5707 weight class) and Chase Smith (ranked 419 p4p, 473 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Petr Amagov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chase Smith!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Viktor Lagutenko and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Smith misses.
Smith lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Amagov misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smith.
Smith tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Amagov is able to avoid easily.

Amagov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Smith's guard.
Amagov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smith swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Amagov drops back looking for a leg! Smith is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Smith manages to kick Amagov off! Amagov jumps back into Smith's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Amagov is really struggling to control Smith but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Amagov looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Amagov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Smith defends it nicely.
Smith throws a body punch but Amagov moves out of range.
Amagov changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Chase Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Amagov.
Smith throws a body punch but Amagov moves out of range.
Smith tries to bum rush Amagov with a series of wild strikes but Amagov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

so Amagov counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Smith wants to get back to his feet but Amagov passes into half guard.

Smith won't allow Amagov to pass to mount.
Amagov is trying to control the action in half guard but Smith is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Amagov wants to take a breather but Smith is having none of it.
Amagov is looking to advance position but Smith won't allow it.

Amagov is looking for a kimura but Smith is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Amagov to get the leverage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Amagov is trying to control the action in half guard but Smith is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Amagov seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Chase Smith will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Smith dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Smith looks to land a combination but Amagov avoids it well.
Amagov appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Amagov lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A low kick from Smith is predictable there

and Amagov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Smith won't be happy with that.
