Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kent Dew (ranked 2405 p4p, 3321 weight class) and Chang Honghui (ranked 254 p4p, 327 weight class). Honghui has chosen Ancient Art as his entrance music. Chang Honghui has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Honghui misses.

Dew is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Honghui's half guard.
Honghui is trying to stand up here but Dew is controlling him well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dew connects with a nice short shot to Honghui's temple.
Honghui is trying to escape back to his feet but Dew uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Honghui bucks up and tries to throw Dew off but instead Dew has got his back!

Dew connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Honghui to escape the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Dew.
Dew is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Dew gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Dew gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Dew apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Dew looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Honghui!
Dew lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Honghui down.
Honghui is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Dew has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Honghui is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
