Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Heat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edson Maciel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maciel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Nego Drama kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heat scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

It looks like Edson Maciel has been cut.

Heat shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Heat was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
BOOM! Heat connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Heat can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Maciel is looking to escape.

Maciel tightens his grip and picks Heat up, before dumping him to the ground. Heat manages to land in guard.
Heat throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.

Maciel is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Heat wants to stand and escape but Maciel is having none of it.
Heat keeping moving, preventing Maciel from controlling successfully.
Maciel seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Maciel gets to his feet. Heat looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Heat lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Heat shoots in for a takedown but Maciel shows good takedown defense.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Maciel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Heat looking to control.
Heat is looking to stand up but Maciel isn't so interested in that idea.
Maciel postures up and lands a big shot to Heat's brow.
Heat is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Heat wants to get back to his feet but Maciel is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Maciel gets to his feet. Heat looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Jab by Heat.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Heat, as that shot connected.
Maciel tries for a takedown but Heat circles away easily
and Heat counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bob Heat is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Heat cracks Maciel with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Heat tries to break the clinch but Maciel is controlling the position.

Maciel pulls Heat into guard.
Maciel avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Maciel lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Heat!
Heat is trying to reverse the position but instead Maciel has taken his back - oops!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Maciel is not going to allow Heat to sit and survive in this position.
Heat is trying to stand back up.

Maciel is cranking Heat's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Heat! He's tightened the choke and Heat is tapping out!
