Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anti Half Assed (ranked 1466 p4p, 1045 weight class) and Marchrius Rossi (ranked 194 p4p, 145 weight class). Rossi has chosen Metal Slug Theme as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 22 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anti Half Assed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Marchrius Rossi!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Half Assed lands with a straight right. Rossi didn't see that one coming.
Half Assed swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
It seemed like Rossi was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Rossi uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Half Assed has time to react.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rossi! But no joy.
The fighters circling - Half Assed throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
It seemed like Rossi was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Half Assed changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rossi tries to avoid it but Half Assed manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rossi to the ground. Rossi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rossi let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Anti Half Assed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rossi throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Rossi regains half guard there - taking advantage of Half Assed's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Rossi wants to improve his position but Half Assed is controlling well.

Half Assed is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rossi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Half Assed.
Half Assed is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rossi is just riding it out for now. Half Assed eventually gives up the hold.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Rossi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Half Assed has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rossi has managed to get both his arms back between Half Assed's legs - danger averted.
Half Assed wants to control the position but Rossi says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Half Assed has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rossi is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Anti Half Assed.
I think Rossi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
