The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fox with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling DeCoteau to score with a decent uppercut.
Fox lands a nice leg kick that just misses DeCoteau's sensitive parts.

Fox closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Fox throws a punch but it's blocked by DeCoteau.
Fox lands with a short shot to the head.
DeCoteau keeps control of Fox as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Fox definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Horrible takedown attempt by DeCoteau or perhaps it was just good defense by Fox, which made it look bad.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
DeCoteau is trying to control the position but Fox postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fox passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Fox tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

DeCoteau is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Fox will probably get the nod.

Fox throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but DeCoteau blocks it with crossed arms.

DeCoteau shoots in looking for a takedown. Fox tries to sprawl out of it but DeCoteau keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fox manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

As DeCoteau looks to move away, Fox throws a big counter combo but DeCoteau just gets out of the way.
DeCoteau slips under a jab.
DeCoteau tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fox swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fox. DeCoteau does a little dance to reset his feet.
Caleb DeCoteau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Good exchange - Fox coming out on top.
DeCoteau throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

DeCoteau gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Fox pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd cheers as DeCoteau lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fox doesn't seem phased though.

DeCoteau throws a nice looking combination but Fox bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Fox tried to land a shot to the body but connects with DeCoteau's elbow.

Fox looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Fox tries to land a knee to the head but DeCoteau blocks with his arms.
DeCoteau tries to pull guard but Fox holds him up against the cage and eventually DeCoteau drops back down to his feet.
DeCoteau prevents Fox from breaking the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
DeCoteau pushes Fox back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fox tries to land knees in the clinch but DeCoteau avoids the damage to the body.
DeCoteau blocks an uppercut.
DeCoteau misses with a body punch.
DeCoteau tries a body shot but Fox blocks it.
Still in the clinch, DeCoteau scores with a nice short uppercut.

Fox breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
DeCoteau avoids the head kick by Fox.
Fox takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
DeCoteau has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

DeCoteau looking to score a takedown here. Fox is defending well but DeCoteau drives through and ends up in Fox's guard.
Fox wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and DeCoteau manages to pass to side control.

DeCoteau has gone for a leg lock! Fox slips out almost immediately though and dives into DeCoteau's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Fox will probably get the nod.

DeCoteau fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Fox finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under DeCoteau's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Fox falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
