Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Claudio Benedetti (ranked 4685 p4p, 22217 weight class) and Brian Upchurch (ranked 457 p4p, 548 weight class). Benedetti comes to the ring accompanied by Atrevete te. Upchurch has chosen Quit Lyin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benedetti rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Upchurch connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

A little feinted left hand from Benedetti on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Upchurch scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Benedetti to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

And Upchurch responds with a good body kick, but Benedetti manages to step out the way in time.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Despite the aggression on Upchurch's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Benedetti throws a hook but Upchurch avoids it easily.
