Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Kowalski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joshua Floyd!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Floyd wants to clinch up but Kowalski keeps it at a distance.
Floyd stuffs the takedown attempt from Kowalski. Kowalski gets slowly back to his feet.

Floyd closes the distance and clinches.
Floyd lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kowalski.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Floyd.

Floyd successfully pulls guard.
Kowalski working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Kowalski loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kowalski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Floyd wants to sweep here but Kowalski controlling him for the moment.

Floyd is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Floyd has momentary wrist control but Kowalski slips an elbow through the middle.

Kowalski is working Floyd over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Kowalski is in close to Floyd's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Floyd has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kowalski should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Floyd has tightened it up now! Kowalski should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
