Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Seiya Kobayashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tad Pohl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kobayashi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Carry On My Wayward Son. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kobayashi works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Pohl shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pohl was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Tad Pohl just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kobayashi is refusing to be controlled, as Pohl sits in half guard.

Seiya Kobayashi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tad Pohl is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Pohl has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
