Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Tequila (ranked 6078 p4p, 2361 weight class) and Pedro Dantas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pedro Dantas told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Tequila!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pedro Dantas!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Topper Green and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tequila throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nice jab there from Tequila.
It looks like Pedro Dantas has been cut.
Dantas tries to close the distance and clinch but Tequila swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A punch combination from Tequila misses.
Dantas walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Tequila digs a good hook to Dantas's body.
Dantas fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dantas takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Tequila is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dantas.
Dantas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tequila paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jack Tequila seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dantas gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Tequila definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tequila throws a punch but it's blocked by Dantas.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dantas tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tequila smiles and moves away.
Tequila scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Dantas is rocked!
Tequila lands with a big right hook that stumbles Dantas - he's out on his feet here! Tequila follows up with another monster hook that separates Dantas from consciousness! Dantas falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Tequila stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jack Tequila!
