Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Romeo Vanderbilt (ranked 4316 p4p, 4603 weight class) and Beyond Rosewald (ranked 382 p4p, 390 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosewald instigates a clinch.
Vanderbilt prevents Rosewald from breaking the clinch.
Vanderbilt using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Rosewald has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Vanderbilt seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Vanderbilt clinches up against the cage.
Rosewald is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Rosewald has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vanderbilt avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Rosewald pushes off an throws an elbow but Vanderbilt leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Rosewald jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vanderbilt walks away with a smile on his face. Rosewald gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rosewald moves out of range of the body kick from Vanderbilt.

Rosewald now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Rosewald will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vanderbilt.
Rosewald throws out a counter right but Vanderbilt avoids it with no problem.

Rosewald displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vanderbilt.
Vanderbilt closes the distance and clinches up with Rosewald, looking for a takedown. Vanderbilt pushes Rosewald against the cage but Rosewald circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Vanderbilt throws a push kick but Rosewald slaps the foot to one side.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rosewald shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vanderbilt but Vanderbilt pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rosewald throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Beyond Rosewald will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Rosewald shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Vanderbilt's guard.
Vanderbilt is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Vanderbilt breaks the clinch.
Vanderbilt tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rosewald swivels and escapes.
Beyond Rosewald seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Vanderbilt stuffs the takedown attempt from Rosewald. Rosewald gets slowly back to his feet.
Rosewald shoots in but Vanderbilt avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Vanderbilt misses with a jab, cross combination.
Vanderbilt defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rosewald.
Romeo Vanderbilt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Beyond Rosewald.
Vanderbilt dives in for a single leg takedown but Rosewald sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Rosewald looks like he wants to counter punch here.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Rosewald changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vanderbilt tries to avoid it but Rosewald manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vanderbilt to the ground. Vanderbilt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
