Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Barbosa (ranked 822 p4p, 408 weight class) and Greg Connor (ranked 122 p4p, 64 weight class). Connor comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cherub Rock kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Daniel Barbosa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa defending well as Connor loads up on a big left hand.
Connor takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Barbosa connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Connor momentarily.
Greg Connor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barbosa misses with an uppercut. Connor saw that one coming.
Connor lands a nice looking body shot.

Barbosa uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Connor has time to react.

Barbosa was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Connor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barbosa manages to avoid it.
Barbosa takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Barbosa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Connor lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Barbosa at a distance.
Connor uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Barbosa has time to react.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Connor has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

It looks like Barbosa has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Connor swings wildly with an uppercut but Barbosa uses good head movement to avoid it.
Connor lands a hook that snaps the head of Barbosa backwards.

Connor struggles to land a body shot inside as Barbosa controls his hands.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Connor has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
