The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Diaz.
Diaz ducks under a wild hook from Mike.

Mike moves into the clinch.
Diaz blocks a body shot from Mike.
Diaz tries to score a body lock takedown but Mike shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Diaz tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mike just stands there and leans against the cage.
Karr Mike has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Franky Diaz.
Mike digs a right hand into Diaz's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Diaz's gas tank.
Diaz prevents a body shot from Mike.
Diaz tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mike just stands there and leans against the cage.
Diaz fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Diaz tries to break the clinch but Mike is controlling the position.
Mike can't find room to land a body shot as Diaz controls the action.
Diaz drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mike pulls his leg out and moves away.
Diaz showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mike.
Mike connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Diaz drops his hands momentarily and Mike takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Left hook, right uppercut from Mike.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Mike!
Diaz looks gassed!
Diaz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mike swivels and escapes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mike lands a two punch combo.
Diaz shoots in for a double leg but Mike sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Diaz takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
A left lands for Mike.
Diaz takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mike with a nice cross.
The crowd cheers as Mike lands an impressive looking overhand right. Diaz doesn't seem phased though.
Mike's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Mike duly obliges.
Mike throws out a powerful jab.
Mike scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Diaz takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Mike lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Diaz is rocked!
Mike drops Diaz with a huge uppercut! Diaz drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Mike is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
