Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between RG Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Evans is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dias misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Evans throws a nice head kick!

Dias wants to control the pace but Evans is squirming around nicely.
Evans is desperately trying to improve his position but Dias has a good base and remains in mount.

Dias tries to control but Evans wriggling away.

Dias can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Evans is looking to escape.
Evans sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dias seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Evans does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Evans landing rabbit punches to the side of Dias's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.

Dias frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Dias has hold of Evans's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Evans manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dias prevents Evans from getting the reversal.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Evans is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dias trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Dias is breathing heavily.
Evans wants to try and get back to his feet.

Evans is wriggling around trying to escape.

Dias looking to secure an arm triangle but Evans defends it well.

Dias swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Evans is now in Dias's guard. A big mistake from Dias there, giving up the dominant position!

Dias has his foot on Evans's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Evans works his way back into a safe position though.
Evans must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Dias is looking to sweep but instead, Evans has passed into half guard.

Dias has hold of Evans's hands but Evans slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Evans with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Evans looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Dias tries to roll over but Evans keeps him under control.

Evans is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dias defends it well.

Dias is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Evans frees his head nicely. Oh but Dias has switched to an armbar! Evans is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
