Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brett Shoenfeld!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 1, fighting out of London, Shug Skinner!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skinner throws a big shot that misses.

Skinner throws a shot from downtown. Shoenfeld moves away and avoids it.
Shoenfeld changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Skinner just misses with a punch to the body.
Shoenfeld attempts a counter takedown but Skinner avoids it well and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Shoenfeld takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Skinner looks to land a left hand but Shoenfeld moved out of range nicely.

Shug Skinner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

I would just about give that final round to Shug Skinner.
