The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanderson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sanderson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sanderson lands a jab to Demoss's midsection.
Demoss tries to close the distance and clinch but Sanderson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sanderson misses with a wild body shot.
Sanderson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Sanderson.
Sanderson is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Demoss's shoulder. That is not cool.
Demoss looks gassed!
Sanderson moves into full mount!
Sanderson content just to control the position here.

Sanderson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Demoss is surviving well by controlling Sanderson's body position as best he can.

Sanderson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Demoss is trying to stand.
Demoss has given up his back here. Will Sanderson look for the submission or keep pounding away?
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Rulon Sanderson just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Sanderson gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Demoss throws a punch but it's blocked by Sanderson.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sanderson wants to break the clinch but can't.
Demoss prevents Sanderson from breaking the clinch.

Demoss can't break the clinch.
Demoss missing with knees to the body.
Demoss misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Demoss with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Sanderson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sanderson misses with a few strikes there.
Sanderson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Demoss closes the distance looking to clinch

and Sanderson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Sanderson slips nicely into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Demoss is breathing heavily.
Sanderson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Demoss wants to get back to his feet.
Sanderson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Demoss!

Sanderson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

It looks like Mike Demoss has been cut.

Sanderson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Demoss really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sanderson looking for a guillotine from mount but Demoss is having none of it.

Sanderson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Demoss is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Demoss and Sanderson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Demoss is working to avoid the ground and pound but Sanderson connects with a decent elbow.


That has opened up Mike Demoss's cut even more.
Demoss wants to get back to his feet but Sanderson drags him back down.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Demoss takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.


Mike Demoss's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mike Demoss's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Rulon Sanderson!
