Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maks Teller (ranked 3070 p4p, 4390 weight class) and Night Lights (ranked 336 p4p, 436 weight class). Maks Teller is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maks Teller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Night Lights!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teller works Lights's body with a nice hook.
Teller lands with a nice body kick.
Lights looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Lights goes for a double leg but Teller avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Teller continues to drive forward.
Teller fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lights on the side of the head.
Teller scoring well with a low kick there.

Teller tests Lights's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Teller darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Lights manages to escape and get back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Teller scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lights doesn't seem bothered though.

Lights darts in and clinches Teller up against the cage.

Teller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Teller lands with a hook. Lights tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Teller scores with a hook.
Lights tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Teller changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Teller punishes Lights's body with a nice straight punch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Teller leaves Lights with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Teller was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Good exchange - Teller coming out on top.
Teller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Teller lands a glancing blow to the side of Lights's head.
Teller listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Teller cracks Lights with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Lights will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Maks Teller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Night Lights.
Teller fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Teller connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lights's hands.
Lights takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Lights is rocked!
Lights leaves his chin hanging out and Teller seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Lights crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Maks Teller!
A very excited looking Maks Teller rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
The defeated Night Lights had this to say: 'Losing is part of learning, you will never be one of the great in your craft if you didn't experience losing.'.
