The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopson lands a jab-cross combination.
Van Dorner throws a series of punches but Hopson avoids them all with ease.
Van Dorner is looking to clinch but Hopson is avoiding it.
Van Dorner shoots in looking for a takedown but Hopson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Van Dorner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hopson swings for the body but Van Dorner moves out of range.
Hopson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Hopson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Van Dorner's head backwards.
Hopson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A punch combination from Hopson misses.
Hopson thuds his right hand into Van Dorner's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Hopson looks to land a left hand but Van Dorner moved out of range nicely.

Hopson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Van Dorner looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Van Dorner tries to work over Hopson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Hopson gets through Van Dorner's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Still in the clinch, Hopson scores with a nice short uppercut.
Van Dorner looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hopson lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Van Dorner to his knees! Hopson keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
